Historical Society Participating in Hawthorne Day
The Hawthorne Historical Society will be taking part in the first annual Hawthorne Day festival to be held Saturday, September 26, 2009. The Society will have a booth featuring historical trivia questions about Hawthorne with prizes awarded on the hour from among the correct answers, including free memberships.
We’ll also have some of our memorabilia for sale, including the Oral History Project DVD, our Stained-Glass-Window Note cards, and assorted other items. Stop by, say hi, and try your luck with our trivia questions!
The Hawthorne Historical Society meets the second Monday of every month at 7p at the Louis Bay 2nd library and community center. All are welcome. For further information contact Jeff Gardner at 973-951-7081.
